Harley Riders Promote Tourism



(WFRV) GREEN BAY A group of Harley's have roared into Green Bay today to promote tourism in southeastern Wisconsin.

It's all part of the Third Annual Executives' Ride.

Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker stopped at McCoy Harley Davidson in Green Bay as part of the 35-city tour throughout Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan and Minnesota.

He, along with other representatives from southeastern Wisconsin, is promoting all their counties have to offer - from Summerfest to the Racine Art Museum.

"One of the biggest challenges we face...particularly the further out state you go, is to remind people that Milwaukee has all the big city attractions to compete with Chicago and the Twin Cities and even the coast. But we've got that small town feel."
