Dana D'Oench -- "Metric Revolution" Rookie Builder
Dana D'Oench, the only female builder of twenty-two chosen to compete in "Metric Revolution." Dana was selected to compete in the Rookie category.
In the summer of 2005, the producers of "Metric Revolution" conducted a nation-wide search for the "best of the best" custom motorcycle builders in the United States. After narrowing the field from literally thousands of entries, twenty-two contestants were selected to compete in three categories -- Cruisers, Sportbike, and the "Rookies".
During Biketoberfest, the premier of Metric Revolution, which is scheduled to air in 2006, was taped in front of a live audience. The selected builders choose their stock production motorcycle during the ‘launch’ celebration of the “Metric Revolution” held at The Shores Resort and Spa in Daytona Beach, FL. These builders will have the challenge of customizing their stock motorcycle in 180 days.
The season finale of the “Metric Revolution” will end with the unveiling of these amazing custom motorcycles which will then be judged by a panel of established industry experts in conjunction with votes tallied from the television viewing audience and attendees at the final show in 2006. There will be an overall winner and winners in each of the three categories. Winners will receive cash prizes, in addition to other generous awards.
